MV2250 — Cinema Screen Speaker

The MV2250 is an integrated passive two-way screen channel loudspeaker in the SOVOX MV Series for medium and large commercial cinemas, intended for main channels behind acoustically transparent screens, as well as multiplex auditoria and screening or dubbing rooms. It pairs dual 15-inch woofers with a 3-inch compression driver, covering 47 Hz–19 kHz (±3 dB, half-space) with a 37 Hz–20 kHz usable range and 90° × 40° nominal coverage.

The dual 15-inch woofers use ADM™ oil-treated cloth-edge paper cones, at 101 dB system sensitivity (1 W/1 m, 2π). The 3-inch compression driver is crossed to the low section internally, allowing full-range operation from a single amplifier channel. The bass-reflex MDF cabinet with PVC laminate finish weighs approx. 46 kg; the one-piece passive design requires no module handling or assembly behind the screen, and the 4-ohm nominal load requires amplifier current capability, cable gauge and protection settings to be verified during system design.
